How might we make it faster and easier for Victorian public transport users to plan and make their journeys?
We’re launching the VicTripathon as a way to answer this question. PTV has upgraded it’s API, and now we’re calling on digital innovators from all over Victoria and beyond to make digital solutions to our roads and rail networks.
We want your expertise and understanding of digital product design, design thinking, commercialisation, start-up, open data and software development to help us create these solutions. In return we’re providing prizes, workshops, mentors, spaces, and helpers of all sorts to support you along the way.
This is not your typical hackathon. It kicks off with a few days of designing and prototyping, but from there a lucky few will be selected to join an Incubator. Your success will depend on your ability form a diverse team of designers, developers and business people and deliver a fully fledged market-ready solution with a clear path to user adoption.
PTV have teamed up with Code for Australia, Open Knowledge Foundation, Owl Ventures and Collabforge to bring the VicTripathon to life.
