William Confalonieri is Deakin University’s Chief Digital Officer and was appointed as Deakin’s first Chief Information Officer in January 2012. William was awarded Chief Information Officer of the Year by ITNews at the Australian CIO Strategy Summit in February 2014. He has a passion for emerging technologies and believes that digital innovations and changes in technological paradigms will significantly transform Deakin University over the next few years, with the evolving expectations of rich digital experiences being the enablers of that transformation.

Designer of all things urban
Jacob completed his honors in Design specialising in Landscape Architecture in Melbourne. For the past 5 years he has worked at the intersection of digital media and urban design to improve our urban experience and cities. When at his home in Brunswick, he enjoys living amongst bike parts from various decades, a fridge stocked with cheese and his rabbit Alberto.
Ex-Fellow and Software Engineer
Ezekiel is a full stack developer with a background in Computer Science. He spent the last 7 years working in Tertiary education and as a freelance developer for startups and small businesses.
Ezekiel is excited by the future possibilities of the internet of things, open data and open APIs and is passionate about digital media, collaboration and creative coding.
When he is not coding, you can find him taking photos, writing music or out on the football (soccer) field.
